Stereotypical Tamils, Chapter 1

Q: How do they start a road race in Tamil Nadu?

A: Ready....Steady.....PO

Ever imagine? stuffing 20 tamils into a Maruti car? All they would do is speak about is either matinee king Rajnikanth or Vijaykanth. The Tamils are well-known worldwide for their unity. Go Singapore, South Africa, UK or Canada, the Tamil diaspora have the unity of spagetti noodles. A Tamil can't imagine starting a day without a slurp of coffee. America runs on Dunkin Donuts and Chickory coffee runs TN. They make no choice other than Madras coffee or Starbucks.
A group of 70 tamilians would intellectually discuss only about Tamil politics in the State. Be it on a fishing boat in the Indian ocean or an International flight to New York.
The tamils have an inclination towards flashy and gaudy colors which are very well depicted in Tamil movies. Superstars wear flashy shirts and boots in the urban drama OR gaudy lungis and a red color vest as a rural drama hero. The Tamil matinee fans are fanatic about one bullet split into two with a razor blade by a superstar that kills three villians.
